Who owns Apes Hill Barbados?

Apes Hill is owned by Apes Hill (Barbados) Inc., a Barbadian company whose primary shareholder is Glenn J. Chamandy , a Canadian investor, Founder and CEO of the clothing powerhouse Gildan Activewear. Glenn purchased Apes Hill in 2019 to reinvent it as a golf resort and community with a characteristically laid back atmosphere and an emphasis on sustainability. Golf course homes are for sale now. Sunil Chatrani is a shareholder and the Executive Chairman of Apes Hill Barbados development. He has 30 years experience in the hospitality sector and was awarded Caribbean Hotelier of the Year by the Caribbean Hotel and Association in January 2019.

Is the Apes Hill Polo Club part of the Apes Hill Golf Resort and Community?

No, the Polo club is its own residential community located across the street from Apes Hill Resort Community. Under the previous developer the access between the two was combined, now they are distinct and separate communities.

What Parish is Apes Hill in?

Apes Hill is located in the Parish of Saint James on the west coast of Barbados, an island in the Caribbean Sea. This thriving part of the island is famed for its designer shops and world class restaurants, as well as some of the best golf courses in the Caribbean.

Can I travel to Apes Hill right now?
